Our Story
Little Village Antenatal began with a simple idea: no one should feel alone when becoming a parent.
There was a time when support came naturally, families and communities gathering around new parents with advice and reassurance. It really did take a village. Today, that village looks different. Families live further apart, and support networks can be hard to find, making parenthood feel overwhelming and sometimes lonely.
That's why we created Little Village Antenatal, a space to learn, ask questions openly, and connect with others going through the same experience.
Because it's not just about preparing for birth. It's about building confidence, finding your people, and knowing that when your baby arrives, you're not alone.
Our Mission
To create a space where parents feel informed, confident, and connected, before, during, and after birth.
We believe antenatal education should be more than information. It should feel supportive, personal, and reassuring, giving you the knowledge you need while making sure you feel heard and able to make the choices that are right for you.
We bring it all together in one place: practical guidance, emotional support, and trusted professionals, within a warm and welcoming setting. Small groups mean time for real conversations and genuine connections.
At the heart of it is a simple belief, confidence comes from understanding, and support comes from connection.
We're not just here to prepare you for labour. We're here to help you feel ready for parenthood, with honesty, warmth, and real-life understanding, so every parent leaves with reassurance, support, and the confidence to move forward in their own way.
Meet Suzanne
Pregnancy, birth and early parenthood are some of the most significant transitions in life. Having the right support, information and guidance can make all the difference.
I'm Suzanne, founder of Little Village Antenatal, a qualified antenatal practitioner with a CertHE in NCT Perinatal Education and Practice from the University of Worcester and, most importantly, a mother of three. Over the years, I have supported many expectant parents as they prepare for birth and the realities of life with a new baby, helping them feel informed, confident and ready for the journey ahead.
My approach combines professional antenatal education with the understanding that every family's experience is unique. I know that alongside the practical questions about labour, feeding and newborn care, many parents are also looking for reassurance, confidence and a sense of connection. That's why my courses are designed to be welcoming, supportive and genuinely personal.
Parents often tell me they value having a space where they can ask any question without judgement, explore their options with confidence and receive clear, evidence-based information that helps them make decisions that feel right for their family. I believe antenatal education should do more than prepare you for birth; it should help you feel empowered as you step into parenthood.
My goal is that every parent leaves feeling informed, reassured and excited about what's ahead, knowing they have the knowledge, support and confidence to make the choices that are right for them and their baby.

Keri Hartwright
With over 27 years of experience as a Paediatric Nurse and First Aid Trainer, I bring a wealth of professional knowledge and real life experience to my first aid courses.
As a mother I feel it is vital to help parents to feel confident, calm, and prepared for emergency situations. Having a very clumsy child I have had to use my skills on many occasions.
There is nothing more precious than your child, and with the majority of accidents in those under five years of age happening in the home it is vital to be prepared should the worst happen.
